So what does a healthy work environment look like?
Here are five elements of a healthy work environment to consider:
Proven Trust: there are shared experiences that have demonstrated to others that their colleagues are trust worthy and have integrity.
Honest Communication: there’s attention given to what and how something is said while also maintaining an open mind, with understanding, when receiving what is said.
Collaboration: there’s inter and intra-departmental projects allowing or diverse thoughts and perspectives in creating solutions.
Lessons Learned: there’s understanding when mistakes and missteps occur, which creates learning opportunities.
Celebration: there’s a celebratory acknowledgement of jobs done well by individuals and teams as well as organizational successes that impact all employees.
